This week in geometry, we have to give an example of how to get an answer for one of the questions on the study guide. The question I chose to explain is number 5 on the study guide. (ABC) with vertices A (-3, 2), B (0, 1), and C (-2, -3) in to reflect a point in line y=x. Reflection in line y=x is to reflect a point line y=x, interchange the x and y coordinates, which is known as flip coordinates, example: (x, y) = (y, x). Therefore, the answer to number 5 is A’ (2, -3), B’ (1, 0), and C’ (-3, -2) when you are done working them out, then put the coordinates on the graph at the bottom.
